The Nua Studio – Warranty Policy and Terms & Conditions
At The Nua Studio, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. This document outlines our warranty coverage, service process, and terms to protect both our clients and our workshop operations.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Furniture and Modular Cabinetry

Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of purchase.

Coverage:

Structural Integrity: Covers material and craftsmanship defects affecting the frame and assembly.

Hardware & Mechanisms: Covers hinges, drawer slides, knobs, push-to-open systems, and other moving hardware only if provided by The Nua Studio.

Exclusions:

Client-Purchased or Specified Hardware: We are not liable for any issue related to accessories not sourced by us.

Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, fading, dents, or natural wood aging are not covered.

Improper Use or Maintenance: Overloading, misuse, or poor upkeep will void the warranty.

Environmental Damage: Exposure to excessive humidity, sunlight, water, or pests is not covered.

Unauthorized Repairs: Warranty is void if any repair or modification is made without our approval.

Damage During Relocation or Reinstallation by Third Parties

1.2 Small Crafts (Non-Furniture Items)

Warranty Period: 2 months from the date of purchase.

Coverage:

Structural Integrity: Covers craftsmanship and material defects.

Hardware & Mechanisms: Covered only if hardware was provided by The Nua Studio.

Exclusions: Same exclusions listed under Section 1.1 apply.
2. Shipping and On-Site Repairs

Shipping Responsibility: Customers are responsible for shipping the product to and from our workshop. We do not shoulder shipping or courier fees.

On-Site Repairs: For large or built-in items, on-site service may be arranged. However, mobilization and labor fees will be charged and must be settled before deployment.
3. Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, customers must present any of the following:

The original official receipt.

A copy of payment confirmation or invoice.

The order number (for website purchases).
All claims must include clear photos and a written description of the issue. We may request additional information to validate the claim.
4. Warranty Service
If a valid claim is made within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion:

Repair the item.

Replace the item with the same or comparable model.
-
Refund the amount paid if repair or replacement is not feasible.
Note: A repair or replacement does not extend or renew the original warranty period.
5. Terms and Conditions
5.1 General Coverage

Warranty applies only to products manufactured and sold by The Nua Studio.

All custom designs are based on approved drawings, finishes, and dimensions. Once approved, changes in preference are not grounds for warranty claims.
5.2 Limitations of Liability

The Nua Studio’s maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price.

We are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost income or use of the product).
-
Site damages (e.g., to walls or floors) during dismantling or installation unless caused by gross negligence.

Delivery damages from third-party logistics providers.
-
Natural variances in wood grain, finish, or texture.
-
Delays or issues caused by force majeure (e.g., storms, supply shortages, lockdowns).

5.3 Customer Responsibilities

Inspect items upon delivery. Report any damage within 48 hours. Late reports will not be covered.

Follow care and maintenance guidelines. Use of harsh chemicals, soaking, or improper storage may void the warranty.

Arrange for return shipping to our workshop for any claim. Shipping fees are not reimbursed.
5.4 Warranty Exclusions

Misuse, neglect, accidental damage, and poor storage conditions (outdoor use, wet areas, pest exposure).

Wear from commercial/industrial use unless explicitly covered by a commercial agreement.

Repairs or alterations by non-authorized parties.
-
Issues due to client-selected materials or hardware.
5.5 Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be addressed through documentation and mutual discussion.

If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and heard in the proper courts of [Insert City], Philippines.
